Must Read: Olivia Cunning - Sinners on Tour Series

**WARNING ADULT CONTENT ON THIS POST**

Sinners on Tour Series - Olivia Cunning

So I have never been that big of a fan of "erotica" I like a story with my sex. LOL! When I heard about this series through one of my goodreads groups (reading is my escape) and the ladies were raving about it I decided to check it out. I'm a big fan of music and musicians so I decided to give it a whirl despite my reluctance and I am so glad I did! I adore this series! The sex is sexy and steamy everything you would expect from erotica and from the characters being musicians but even better are the characters. I fell in love with the Sinners, every last one of them!

What I especially adore about O. Cunnings writing is when you least expect it she pops in this one liner or some situation that has you laughing so hard it brings you nearly to tears! Even more then I like a scorching sex scene I absolutely love to laugh, so to find myself laughing in the middle of an erotica novel means I'm in love!

Backstage Pass:

I really loved Brian, he's a rocker with a romantic heart. If you were to fall for a musician (and I've sworn off musicians fr a reason lol) this is the type of musician you want to fall for faithful to the core. In my dreams I would find myself a Brain, but alas, I doubt he exists so I'll have to settle for reading about him. Myrna is kind eh for me, I didnt really relate to her, but it didnt take away from my enjoyment of this book.

Rock Hard:

In this novel I really adore Sed the misunderstood sex god and lead singer of the Sinners and Jessica the smart, sexy, head strong law student. They are an unlikely match but a perfect one. They definitely have their misunderstanding as two headstrong opinionated always want to be right people but the making up is well worth the fighting. In this books as compared to the first you get more character development and learn more about each of the band mates. I have to admit I have a soft spot for Trey and Jace and hope they get books soon!

Song on Repeat: Adele - Set Fire to the Rain

Adele - Set Fire to the Rain

Can you ever go wrong with Adele?? I mean really?!?! But of all of her fantastic songs this one just grips me, it pulls me in and it wont let me go. Her voice is incredible in this song, I can feel everything that she is feeling. It haunts me, I hear it in my head as I'm falling asleep and its playing in my head when I wake up. It's been a while since a song has stuck with me like this one is. It's my new favorite song, well until I find my next favorite song lol.

Check it out for yourself!

Must Read: Cherrie Lynn - Rock Me

Rock Me - Cherrie Lynn

Why this is a Must Read:
A get a sexy, tall, dark haired, blued eyed, bad boy tattoo artist with dimples. Enough said…
What you need more? Ok, fine…
Brian our sexy tattoo artist is a bad boy with a heart of gold, he cherishes Candace with everything he has and is. Candace is your good girl who never breaks the rules and always obeys her parents orders but she finds that with Brian she can let go and really be who she is and not who her parents want her to be. There is plenty of drama, a fist fight, a break in, meddling families, tattoos, a piercing in a tempting local and some of the steamiest scenes I have read yet.
Candace may or may not annoy you a little but Brain more than makes up for it and you will not be disappointed with this book and it will stick with you long after you have finished reading it.

Review:
I had been looking for a cross body purse forever and just could not find one that I really liked in the right color, embellishments and size. When I saw this purse on urbanouttfitters.com I really liked it. I went into the store to see if they sold it at my local store so I could see it in person (online can be really tricky sometimes), but alas, they did not have it. So I took the plunge and decided to order it online. When the purse finally arrived I was really happy! I really love this purse. The shoulder strap is adjustable so I can adjust to my height and for it to sit where I want it to sit, the leather is buttery soft and I love the embellishments. Ok that being said, the color online is listed as grey, but I’d have to say it has more of a greenish tint, which I don’t mind at all. I think it adds bit of interest since it’s not a common color but it is still neutral so it goes with almost everything. The zippers add a bit of a rock n’ roll edge, which I enjoy. The bag is a little bigger than I thought it would be but that also has turned out to be a benefit, I have found myself throwing a lot of crap in my bag that I need in my transient lifestyle. If I know that I’m going to be out all day I throw my makeup in there along with my Kindle, a light jacket (if needed), iPod, phone, wallet, etc… The only downfall I have seen with this purse is the pockets. I got used to outside pockets and this purse doesn’t have any, which I miss, also the inside pockets are really shallow. There is plenty of room inside so I don’t know why they made the pockets so shallow, the items I do put in the pockets usually end up falling out into the inside of the bag. Overall, I am really happy with my purchase!

My Review:
When I first saw this product I was really excited, a creamy foundation with sunscreen built in, I was sold! I have to say I’ve been let down. The product does even out my skin tone, but I don’t like how it looks on my skin at close range. I’m not quite sure what the word would be to explain how it looks on my skin, I guess the best would be dry and flaky. Also, the foundation itself kind of has an oily, greasy consistency that I was not expecting from this product. I have been using the product for about a month now and I have noticed more breakouts especially along my jaw line and chin.  Within 2 weeks I hit the pan of the container, so there really isn’t much product. I don’t use the foundation every day so I am used to this type of product lasting me several months, not hitting the bottom within the first few weeks. I usually love Neutrogena products so I am sad that I was so disappointed in this product, needless to say once this container is finished I will not be purchasing another, I’ll be trying something else.

Movie Review: X-Men: First Class

X-Men: First Class
Rating: PG-13
Run Time: 132 Mins
What it is about:
This is the beginnings of the X-Men, you see how they all originally came together.
“Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-MEN.” From IMBD.com
What I Thought About It:
I loved this movie! I have always been a fan of the X-Men franchise and have probably seen all of the movies in the theater. I have been waiting for this movie for a while, so I am really glad I was not disappointed! It was really cool to see the beginnings of the X-Men, to see how they came together and developing their powers. This movie was also thought provoking, it wasn’t just action. The movie takes place during a very politically charged time, tensions were high between the USA and Russia and this movie does not shy away from addressing the politics. In fact it is the central theme. The movie opens in Nazi Germany, with Erik’s (Michael Fassbender) story. By seeing this you can definitely see why Magneto became the way he is from the rest of the X-Men movies. You catch glimpses of Charles (James McAvoy) and Raven/Mystique’s (Jennifer Lawrence) childhood as well.  You’ll also see some other familiar characters: Mystique and Beast. And you’ll be introduced to some new characters.  By the end of the movie I have to admit I was decidedly on Team Magneto’s side. LOL! Being bad never looked so good!
Rating:
Go see it ASAP!

Song on Repeat: Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi - Two Against One - starring Jack White

Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi - Two Against One - starring Jack White

It's on the slower side and has a moody vibe about it. Jack White is the main vocal behind this song and really can you go wrong with Jack White singing for you? I think not.

Check it out for yourself!

June Challenge

Ok since it is a new month and I have been a terrible slacker in all things I am going to try to challenge myself. So here are my three challenges:

1. Not spend any money for 10 days (except if I run out of gas on 3/4 of a tank so I should be good) I saw this challenge on Yahoo and figured it couldnt be that hard and then I realized how much money I spend on little things each day. SO there goes my daily soda!

2.  I want to do some sort of Cardio exercise 2x a week for the whole month. Today I swam for 15ish mins.

3. I have a HUGE TBR mountain, 6 full series to read, 3 series to finish and other random books. So I am not allowed to PURCHASE any new books for the entire month of June. This is going to be so hard, it seems like I'm always buying books and I'm sure there are some good ones coming out this month, but I'll have to wait until August to buy and read.

This is going to be hard, wish me luck!

Victoria Secret: Pretty Glow Pink Bronzer

Victoria Secret: Pretty Glow Pink Bronzer

Pretty Glow Pink is a face and body bronzer from Victoria Secret. A friend (CeCe from http://www.bronzegoddessbeauty.com/) gave me this bronzer because it was too light for her but it ended up being perfect for me! It is the perfect shade, it gives me a nice healthy tanned look without the damaging effects of the sun. It is also a pretty big size so you won’t be running about anytime soon, which is great since I have taken to wearing it every day!
The cost is even reasonable at $15.00. (But I have heard it was discontinued so you would have to eBay it)
